And so it is that despite my roaring enthusiasm for all things blog – my body had had the final say today, and I’ve been rather poorly. My iron levels are low, and I’ve been rather like a wet lettuce today (that is if a wet lettuce can out sleep my cats). I have now had the relevant medication, and a good old fashioned cup of sweet tea (the English cure for absolutely everything) and much like the evening primrose, I am temporarily in bloom once again.
Rather than bore you with the minutia of my day, I would love to share with you the things that keep me sane on a day like today.
The briefest nod to fashion on a day like today, but a funky pair of PJ’s at least makes one presentable to visitors, without the necessary energy expenditure of actually getting dressed and ready. I have a great collection, but with Christmas just round the corner, I have some for my list to Santa
I’m loving these Fairisle Reindeer Pyjamas from George at Asda for just £10. A great budget buy, and even better, they now deliver internationally.
Next has some gorgeous separates that you can mix and match. I love this Pointelle Vest at £8.50 and Duck Egg fleece print pants at £12. There is a great range of slippers and robes to match, and the colours are sublime. A little more pricey, but still gorgeous!
And that’s it for PJ’s. I could go on and on and on, but I’ll save some more for another inevitable PJ day, and go and eat some liver, possibly with some fava beans and a nice Chianti 😉
Thank you to everyone who has been reading my baby blog. It means so much, and getting comments really thrills me and makes my day brighter 🙂
